For a homebuyer, understanding your potential investment in a large home is important. More square footage could mean more problems.

Because it will take more time to do a visual examination of the house and the systems of accessible areas, the inspection will last several hours.

Inspecting a larger home

Here are a few of my main goals when I am called to perform a large home inspection:

1. Evaluate the property and educate the homebuyer.
2. Provide a detailed report on any safety and quality issues.
3. Identify, as best as possible, any non-functioning systems.
4. Provide a proper radon test and well water bacteria test.
